October is Cyber Security Awareness month! As part of the revised Children’s Internet Protection Act, effective July 1, 2012, all school districts must educate students about appropriate online behavior, including interacting with other individuals on social networking sites and in chat rooms, and cyberbullying awareness and response.
In the month of October, we provide instruction to all students about Cyber-Safety. This year, the instruction will take place during the week of October 18th, 2021. Lessons and resources for teaching cyber-safety can be found on our Fresno EdTech website. This page provides you with resources you can use to prepare a lesson that will give your students the necessary information on how to be better digital citizens.
