We Want Your Feedback!

The Technology Scope and Sequence committee to ask for your feedback on suggestions for new student technology skills. This year, our committee began a process to update the current Technology Scope and Sequence. As you know, technology is constantly evolving, and we want to ensure that our students are well-prepared for your grade level, as well as the #AsYetImagined future. Your experience and understanding of your students’ capabilities are essential in tailoring the curriculum to be age-appropriate and engaging.

The Tech Scope and Sequence acts as a roadmap for teachers to cover essential tech skills in a structured way, aiding lesson planning and tracking student progress. For students, it provides a clear path to gradually develop and master technology skills, fostering confidence and adaptability in using tech for learning and beyond.

We would like to hear your opinions on which of these skills are most relevant and important for your subject areas and grade levels. We would also appreciate any suggestions you may have for additional technology skills that are not in our current document.

Please consider taking a moment to review our current Technology Scope and Sequence and share your feedback on our Elementary and Secondary Padlets. Here are the steps you can take to participate:

  1. Review the technology skills for your grade level
  2. Provide your feedback in either the Elementary or Secondary Padlet
  3. When providing feedback, consider what to Keep, Stop and Start
  4. Please color code your feedback (Keep=Yellow, Stop=Red, Start=Green)
  5. If your idea has already been posted, please give a ❤️ to the existing post

The deadline to provide your feedback will be December 10th. Your input is valuable and will help us design more relevant and supportive digital literacy for our students.

Thank you for your time, knowledge, and ideas.
