Microsoft EDU blows us away once again with another educational tool to help our students. Reading Progress is a tool to support and track reading fluency in your class. Students record their reading on camera or through audio only and submit it to you. Data on their performance is derived from the recording and automatically tracked in the insights tab. The tracking data includes words per minute, accuracy rate and most common challenging words. Another great tool to help us support ALL students in reading fluency. Can’t wait to get this Microsoft Teams update 😀

Meeting organizers and teachers can now choose from three chat settings to help create a safe and inclusive meeting environment. Chats can be “Disabled”, preventing the organizer and participants from using the meeting chat. Alternatively, they can be set to “Only during the meeting”, allowing participants to send messages only during the meeting and the organizer to send messages at any time. Lastly, the default will be set to “Enabled”, allowing chats for all meeting attendees at any time. In addition, you can also choose whether or not to allow reactions during the meeting.
