Learning to search the Internet effectively and evaluate search results is critical for today’s students. As you know, Internet research skills are part of our FUSD student technology standards. Teachers have done a great job coaching students on using search engines to conduct research, but now Microsoft is helping out by providing a new Internet search assistant in Class Teams.

That’s right, the new tool is called Search Coach, and is now available to everyone in the FUSD Microsoft 365 organization. Teachers can easily add the Search Coach tool into their Class Team with just a couple of clicks. Search Coach help’s students develop information literacy skills by performing effective queries and identifying reliable resources. Search Coach let’s student’s practice these critical skills in a secure, ad-free environment, right inside of the Class Team.

Wondering how this amazing new tool works? I thought so. That’s why I found this excellent tutorial created by Microsoft’s own Mike Tholfsen. Enjoy…
