You may have noticed some new updates to our district Nearpod license. If you have not yet seen these, read on. Below is a list of the new features we now have access to in Nearpod. The highlights include the ability to annotate live on-the-fly, live student-paced mode, and co-teaching. And coming soon in early 2022, we will have enhancement to the collaborate board activity. The Class Teams Assignment builder just got an upgrade. What’s new you ask? You can now use video recording and whiteboard as platforms for students to submit work. And, you can now have the assignments post to your students’ calendars. The video recording aspect runs on the Stream platform and can be used by the students to record themselves explaining their work or responding to a prompt. In addition, the teacher can use it to record themselves explaining the task or new concepts for the students.

Some of the highlights include vertical tabs, web capture, collections, read aloud, and more.
