Are you using Microsoft Class Teams to engage your students in a digital space? If so, you’ll love the new features that Microsoft Teams EDU has to offer! In this post, I’ll share with you some of the amazing tools that you can use to enhance your students’ learning experience and make your life easier.

One of the most useful features is the ability to create and manage assignments in Teams. In addition to Word documents, PowerPoint slides, and other files, you can now have students annotate a PDF file using drawing tools. You can also now send reminders to your students about their upcoming assignments, and track their progress and submissions in one place.

But what if some of your students need more time or support to complete their assignments? No problem! You can extend and personalize the due date for individual students or groups, and give them feedback along the way. You can also batch update the grades and feedback for multiple students at once, saving you time and effort.

Another great new feature is the warning message that pops up when a student tries to turn in an assignment without attaching a file. This prevents them from accidentally submitting an incomplete or blank assignment, and reminds them to attach their work before submitting. This way, you don’t have to deal with missing or late assignments, and your students don’t have to worry about losing points or grades.

Another feature that I love is the new Reflect mindful coloring book, that can help your students relax and unwind. You can choose from a variety of beautiful images and drawing colors, and even save your creations. You can also now use Reflect to check in with your staff and colleagues within new Staff Teams!

These are just a few of the amazing new features that Microsoft Teams EDU has to offer. If you want to learn more about these and more new features, check out the video below from Microsoft’s own Mike Tholfsen! Enjoy!
